Tetu Aberdares Water & Sanitation Company LTD

Tetu Water and Sanitation PLC has received funding from the Water Sector Trust Fund financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water and Sanitation Development Project - Conditional Liquidity Support Grant (CLSG) II, and intends to use part of the fund to undertake the following works.

1. Qualified and interested Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Request For Quotation (RFQ) documents during office hours from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., Monday to Friday excluding public holidays at the address given below. The bidding document in English may be downloaded free of charge from the company’s website: www.teawasco.co.ke
2. Bidding will be conducted through World Bank Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 2016, revised 5th Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), which can be found on the World Bank Website: https://www.worldbank.org/en/programs/project-procurement
3. RFQ shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. RFQ shall remain valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of opening of tenders.
4. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the RFQ document submitted.
5. There will be a Mandatory site visit on 29th August 2025 at 11:00 a.m. (East Africa Time).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 3rd September 2025 at 11:00 a.m. (East Africa Time).
7. Electronic tenders will not be permitted.
8. The amount and currency of the BID Security shall be: KSHS. 125,000.
9. Completed Bids should be clearly marked with category and description in a plain sealed envelope and deposited in the tender box at the main office addressed to:

Bids that do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at the Reception Desk and recorded at the reception area. Bid documents will be opened immediately afterwards at TEWASCO’S Boardroom in the presence of bidders or their representatives who will be present.
